ACQ PRESSURE-TREATED WOOD
WITH ADVANCED ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES

There is a major improvement in wood preserving technology. It responds to a growing market demand for a less toxic, more environmentally acceptable preservative for wood. It's ACQ Preserve pressure-treated wood.

For nearly 30 years, wood treated with preservatives containing chromium and arsenic has been very effective in resisting the elements. But today, there's a growing sensitivity about certain chemicals and their impact upon the environment. That's why ACQ Preserve was developed!

New ACQ Preserve pressure-treated wood contains no EPA listed hazardous compounds like arsenic or chromium. And, it's guaranteed to protect against rot, decay and termite attack.

In fact, independent Life Cycle Analyses show that ACQ Preserve produces many times less solid hazardous waste than ordinary (CCA) pressure-treated wood. Use it where other pressure-treated wood may be restricted. And, scraps can be disposed of through regular trash collection.

ACQ Preserve is accepted by the American Wood Preserver's Association (AWPA) and the International Conference of building Officials (ICBO).
It's easy to use. Paintable and stainable too!
